How to get to Dalaal Diam ?

Dakar / AIBD Airport
Heading south, take the motorway towards Mbour for about 50 km, until the SINDIA and POPENGUINE exit. At the roundabout, head for POPENGUINE.
Drive for about 3 km to the village of GUINIABOUR, then turn left onto the main laterite track, towards GUEREO.
On this track, drive about 3.5 km (you'll see 3 signposts for "Le lodge Dalaal diam").
At the third sign, turn left, towards THIAFOURA village.
Cross THIAFOURA village. Continue along the track for about 2 km until you reach the "Le lodge Dalaal diam" sign.

Somone
From the centre of Somone, turn right onto the track that runs past the sports stadium and continue straight on until you reach the dried-out lagoon (sandbank).
On the right, you'll find a small village called "the Peul village".
Follow the tyre tracks in the sand for about 2 km until a small bridge crossing the Somone river, passing the reserve warden's hut.
You are 300 m from "Le Lodge Dalaal diam". Cross the dyke and the second bridge, then turn onto the first track on the right.
